Each of our French Bulldog studs is selected for health, structure, temperament, and pedigree, and each one contributes something specific to the next generation. Select studs are available to approved breeding programs. We do not ship semen we have not analyzed. Every collection is evaluated before it leaves our facility for motility, morphology, and a sperm count per mL run on our Minitube semen counter, and that written analysis ships with the sample. You and your reproductive vet know exactly what you are working with before the insemination appointment, not after.
Chilled semen ships overnight to your reproductive veterinarian or clinic or your home anywhere in the continental United States, packed in an insulated shipper with extender chosen for the transit time. If you would rather come to us, side-by-side artificial insemination and TCI are available at our Knoxville, Tennessee Vet location. Either way, we coordinate timing with your progesterone results so the collection arrives in your female's fertile window.
Every breeding is backed by the Blue Buddha guarantee: three live puppies, or we repeat the service at the female's next cycle. It is written into every stud contract.
How to Book a Blue Buddha Stud
1. Send us your female's information. Email or call with her DNA panel, health testing, age, and the stud you have in mind. We review every request personally and only approve pairings that make sense for both dogs.
2. Confirm the pairing and terms. Once approved, we walk through fees, the stud contract, and whether you want chilled shipping or a side-by-side breeding in Knoxville.
3. Time the breeding. Start progesterone testing with your vet when your female comes into heat. Send us the results and we will coordinate the collection date so the shipment lands inside her fertile window.
4. Collection, evaluation, and delivery. We collect, evaluate, and ship overnight to your reproductive vet or your home with the written evaluation enclosed, or perform the insemination here if you are visiting.
5. Stay in touch. We are here through the pregnancy confirmation, whelping, and beyond. A Blue Buddha stud breeding comes with a breeder on the other end of the phone.

What does it cost to breed to a Blue Buddha stud?
Stud fees vary by stud and by service type. Contact us with your female's DNA panel and we will quote the pairing directly.
Do you require health testing on the female?
Yes. We ask for a current DNA panel and any health testing you have on file. We approve pairings individually to protect both dogs and the resulting litter.
Which states do you ship to?
Chilled semen ships overnight to reproductive vets anywhere in the continental United States. Side-by-side breedings and TCI are available at our Knoxville, Tennessee Vet location.
Is a semen analysis included?
Yes. Every collection is analyzed for motility, morphology, and sperm count per mL on our Minitube semen counter and microscope before it ships, and the written report is included with the shipment at no extra charge.
How far in advance should I contact you?
Reach out before your female's heat cycle begins so we can approve the pairing and have the contract in place. Once she is in heat, progesterone timing moves quickly.
What happens if the breeding does not take?
Every breeding to a Blue Buddha stud is backed by our three-live-puppy guarantee. If the litter does not produce at least three live puppies, we repeat the service at the female's next cycle. Terms are written into the stud contract.

Yes. All Blue Buddha French Bulldog studs are AKC registered and DNA-profiled, most with seven generations of Blue Buddha bloodlines behind them.
